We address these challenges head-on through family counseling that specializes in equine interactions. Our sessions are co-facilitated by licensed mental health professionals, a certified Equine Specialist in Mental Health, and specially trained therapy horses. Horses act as powerful partners in the therapeutic process—reflecting emotional states, providing honest feedback, and helping clients shift from survival mode into grounded, regulated awareness. Located 15 minutes from Fort Rucker, Pine Pastures is nestled within the quiet landscape of a retired pine farm—offering a private retreat where clients can step away from operational stress and the pressures of daily life. This natural environment enhances our therapeutic approach providing stillness for emotional processing and trauma recovery.
